A Conversation about Researching Decision Making

Abstract

The Decisions, Assessment and Risk Special Interest Group (DARSIG) has been supporting researchers with interests in assessment, risk and decision making since the early days of the European Social Work Research Association. Within the global social work profession, there is a growing recognition of the importance of these aspects of practice. The following interview was conducted by Campbell Killick with Brian Taylor and Andrew Whittaker, who were the first conveners of DARSIG. It provides a valuable insight into their perceptions of research relating to social work decision making.
