Abstract
A review of all papers presented and published at THRIC (tourism and hospitality researchers in Ireland conference) since its inception in 2005 was undertaken using cloud technology to illustrate the strands of research expertise that have evolved over time. An analysis across each of the 10 conferences revealed that in terms of research topics, THRIC is a broad church and that no themes dominated. There is some extent of clustering around broader categories of niche types of tourism, sustainable development and tourism and hospitality education. Three future visions for THRIC for the next decade were presented, a possible, probable and preferable one.
