Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This project embarks on an innovative investigation of reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted 6G IoV networks. It mainly lies in exploring and characterizing novel RIS environment, scheduling, and structures to satisfy communications, computing, and sensing functionalities tailored specifically for the unique requirements of the 6G spectrum. The proposed research mainly lies in the development of the optimization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies of the RIS-assisted 6G IoV networks to address important bottleneck problems and contains non-trivial analysis. Also, it focuses on practical design of RIS passive reflection arrays, and the designs of low-complexity algorithms aiming to RIS-assisted 6G IoV networks viable for practical deployment. This research project is multi-disciplinary in nature and covers different areas, such as wireless communication, signal processing, electronics, optimization theory, and AI technology, which has potential to generate impacts across different disciplines and various vertical industries.
