Proof of Concept - Assessment of an Approach to Assess Pine Marten Abundance at a National Scale

Project will survey 142 sites in the Republic of Ireland using camera traps to detect the presence of protected species e.g. pine marten (Martes martes). The data collected will then be used to model the distribution of the species using occupancy modelling. The data produced will help inform reporting for the Irish Government in relation to the EU Habitats Directive.
