A new “research fellowship†within the Future Observatory programme: funded and coordinated by Future Observatory at the Design Museum, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI); and commissioned by the Department for Digital, Culture Sport and Media (DCMS). The Research Fellows/Research Organisations are commissioned to deliver a “research report†(first draft submitted Friday 31 March 2023, final report delivered by Friday 28 April 2023) and 1-2 supporting “workshops†throughout the “research periodâ€. The Design Museum is a charitable trust (registration number 800630), whose main place of business is at 224 - 238 Kensington High Street, London, W8 6AG. Future Observatory is a national programme for design research supporting the UK’s response to the climate crisis. Launched November 2021, the three-year £25m programme is coordinated by the Design Museum in partnership with AHRC, part of UKRI. The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) part of UKRI, is a non-departmental public body that works in partnership with universities, research organisations, businesses, charities, and government to create the best possible environment for research and innovation to flourish. The AHRC supports world-class research that furthers our understanding of human culture and creativity.
