Myopia Management Metrics: How Masterful is the Myopia Master?

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This project is relevant to the Refractive Error and Ocular Motility priority. Within this priority several questions are asked relating to myopia and childhood refractive error (What factors influence the development of refractive error (myopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, and long-sightedness)? How can myopia be prevented? Does early diagnosis of refractive error improve long-term prognosis and promote faster, more effective treatment?). The current project will provide evidence for the reliability of the new Oculus Myopia Master, a ‘one-stop’ biometer allowing clinicians and researchers to evaluate refractive error onset and progression through assessment of axial length and refractive error with a single instrument.
