Project Details
Description
Child development research at Ulster University spans schools and campuses, with different strategies and resources for engagement. This project aims to develop a more efficient and unified programme for engaging families across Northern Ireland by (a) pooling resources across schools to establish a local consortium of child development researchers – Child Development Research at Ulster University, and (b) delivering an outreach programme consisting of in-person and online content to raise awareness in the general public of research on child development. The intended audience for the programme is families with children of all ages, and featured research will be centred around key themes in development research which
align with parent interests, e.g. language and literacy, as well as memory, attention and physical literacy.
