Home-school partnership with migrant families: a way forward on the island of Ireland.

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

Home-school partnership has often been lauded as key in raising educational attainment (Epstein, 2018). However, the level of partnership experienced by parents who come from other countries can be limited by English-language proficiency and cultural difference. This project explores the potential for a home-school partnership framework for use between primary schools and the parents of minority language pupils across the island of Ireland.
