EXAPT Emotional Detection and Recognition at the service of education

The goal of this project is to leverage EDR, Eye Tracking, wearables, and AI in order to provide real-time feedback on engagement during the learning process and in real-time. The innovation solves the problem of lack of non-verbal communication in an online setting and gives teachers and educators a graphical representation of their students' key metrics such as engagement, stress, confidence, valence, areas of the screen most watched. This can be displayed in real-time to inform the synchronous activities, and made available in report form to analyse the contents and structure of a lecture.
