Equality and human rights in Northern Ireland: Implications of CJEU Case Law developments in the context of Windsor Framework Article 2. Expert report

The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (‘the Commission/ECNI’) wishes to appoint a contractor to produce an expert legal report which updates and analyses developments in CJEU case law on equality and human rights and the implications or potential implications for equality and human rights law in Northern Ireland, particularly in the context of the UK Government’s obligations in Windsor Framework Article 2. Specifically, this project will analyse developments in CJEU case law on equality and human rights from 1 September 2023 to 31 December 2024. The ECNI will steer this project in conjunction with the NI Human Rights Commission (NIHRC) and the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC).
