Project: Research

Project Details

Description

The aim as Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) with the University of Ulster's Global Business and Enterprise Department within the Business School is to elevate awareness among staff, students and stakeholders regarding the vast commercial opportunities untapped within the University. By empowering academics, students and potential company builders to liberate their innovative ideas, execute on IP that already exists and to enhance their capacity to contribute further to the university and the broader economy. This residency has the potential to pave the way for more rapid and effective cultivation of new spin-out companies, enabling visionary leaders within our University ecosystem to transform their hard-earned intellectual property into useful and commercial real-world solutions, creating value for the University and for wider society alike.
