Project Details
Description
Requests for funds need to be based on the following:
1.Funds MUST be allocated on the basis of Public Benefit. The funding of individuals to advance their careers can no longer be made (for example training grants, tuition fees etc), however research knowledge dissemination can be funded if it is to the public and so that others are able to utilise or benefit from it (this could include conference attendance to present research).
2.Funds should only be used to promote, develop and enhance AHP research that will eventually have benefit to the public and patients.
3.Funds must be directed towards establishing an outcome which is of value and calculated to promote in a meaningful and direct way the CAHPRs aims and objectives. Funds can be used to support the running of the hub, this includes: administration and expenses.
4.Funds for research (including seed-corn funding) must be justified and conducted for the benefit of the public or a section of the public and not solely or mainly for self-interest or for private or commercial consumption.
