Project Details

Description

In the UK, since 1999 non-medical prescribers (NMP) have been permitted, with the aim of improving patient care and access to medicines. This practice has evolved, and further legislation has enabled the progression to independent prescribing (IP) for several professions including Therapeutic Radiography. This study is to evaluate the feasibility, suitability, and acceptability of prescribing by Therapeutic radiographers for patients in an oncology setting in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
