Amphiphilic polymersomes for ocular drug delivery formulated as eye drops.

We have developed a novel nanoparticle drug delivery system (DDS) that has shown great promise in terms of ocular delivery to the posterior of the eye. Our technology has the potential to revolutionize current practice, offering a valid, non-invasive alternative to intravitreal injections (IVIs) formulated as an eye drop. Our aim is to establish our route to market ensuring this technology reaches its full echelon of potential using this PoC stage 1 InvestNI application.
