Description
The project is developing a digital app for mobile devices integrating AR-replicas of vernacular Irish boats kept at the NMNI Ulster Museum of Folk & Transport linked to binaural listening experiences that provide contextual information about the local fishing tradition as part of the immersive experience.
Layman's description
We are building an app for tourists where you can see digital copies of Irish boats in various harbours along the coast of Ireland and also listen to local stories and songs about fishing and the supernatural.
