The team created a mobile device capable of diagnosing and interpreting 12 common medical conditions. NI CHIC, Intelesens Ltd, CIGA Healthcare, and Randox have together developed this medical diagnostics platform – known as the XPRIZE Tricorder. The solution brought together some of the finest academics with fantastic commercial expertise to target unmet healthcare needs. The joining of skills from academia, business and clinicians seems to be a formula that will give NI a health and commercial advantage."
