Jackson’s Art Prize is an annual competition showcasing the exceptional artwork of artists from around the world. With a focus on materials, and expert judging panels made up of industry names, it’s open to artists of all ages, abilities, and stages in their careers. In 2024 the judges were Joey Yu (artist), Alayao Akinkugbe (art historian) Hugo Barclay (Director, Affordable Art Fair), Charlotte Sorapure (artist), Melissa Ling (artist), Matthew Burrows MBE (Founder, Artist Support Pledge). There were 15,345 submissions. Following a longlist selection of 426, there were 76 artists put through to the final shortlist with an accompanying exhibition, Bankside Galleries London. Louise Wallace was awarded the Oil Award for an outstanding artwork in oil paints and received £1000 worth of oil paints from Michael Harding Artists' Oil Paints.
