Distinguished Collaboration Education Excellence Fellowship

Prize

Description

The Architects of Change team was awarded the Distinguished Collaborative Education Excellence Fellowship Award for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project.

Bringing together academic staff, Master of Architecture (MArch) students, and PhD researchers, the Architects of Change project was recognised for its outstanding contribution to teaching and learning, as well as its commitment to the professional development of the Master of Architecture students involved in the project.

This award highlights the team's innovative and collaborative approach, demonstrating the value of partnership across different levels of academic and professional practice. It reflects the dedication, creativity, and hard work of all those who have contributed to the programme's success.

On 8 May 2024, team members attended the Ulster University Excellence Awards at Galgorm Manor House, joining colleagues and peers from across the university community to celebrate this significant achievement. The occasion provided an opportunity to recognise the impact of the project to date and to also look ahead to the future development of Architects of Change and its many unique and evolving dimensions.

This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of everyone involved and the lasting contribution the programme continues to make to architectural and environmental education and professional practice.
