The Catalyst Awards program recognizes and honors innovation and excellence in the global community of practice, where millions of educators and learners work every day to redefine what is possible when leveraging Anthology and Blackboard solutions.

Catalyst Award for the Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging Category

This award honors those institutions leveraging technology to foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging practices. Winners have taken specific steps to rethink how learning is achieved and are using Blackboard and/or Anthology solutions to ensure that their pedagogy, content, and educational services are fully inclusive and supportive of all learners, providing them with equitable opportunities to succeed. Examples that demonstrate this achievement include, but are not limited to:
1. Accessible learning environments, digital course contents, and alternative formats that significantly improved student experience.
2. Accessible web design tools and alternative formats that greatly improved the institution’s website visitors’ experience.
3. Implementation of admissions and recruitment technology and processes that allowed students from diverse backgrounds to enroll and offered a fair and equitable review process.
