Dr Bill Snelling holds a molecular microbiology PhD from Ulster University (2003).  Following research positions at University College Cork, Ulster University, Randox Toxicology, Queens University & the NHS (cancer trials), Bill is currently a microbiology Research Associate for the GCRF-SAFEWATER transdisciplinary project. He is also a Medical Microbiology e-tutor at Ulster University. Bill’s scientific microbiology papers have been published in top ranked journals. He is an editor for the Journal of Infection in Developing Countries (since 2006) and a reviewer for other journals in the field of microbiology & infectious diseases. Bill is a grant & abstract reviewer for the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (since 2014).
