I am an awardee of a full three-year PhD scholarship @Ulster University. My key research interest is in 'Youth Culture' and the key pathways, innovations, or strategies young people in Africa are adopting or developing to mitigate many challenges besieging their society. Probing the self-help activities of African youths may reveal important dynamics of youth culture in Africa.
I have explored different aspects of youth culture in Africa. Amongst my research interests, football gambling is prime. Asides from academic research on football gambling, I engage in film-making and illustration graphics. I am the producer of a documentary series on 'Gambling Realities in Nigeria', as well as a co-conveyor at Gambling Realities Africa. My prior experience with gambling and current age demographics are advantageous to understanding the complexity of the subject area.
