Biography

Sharon McClements PhD. MRICS SFHEA, PGCHEP, BSc Hons. is a chartered quantity surveyor, Senior lecturer at Ulster University, Expert Advisor to Ministerial Advisory Group for Architecture and Built Environment, Senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy previous Chair of RICS Northern Ireland. Sharon was appointed Civic Ambassador for her civic contribution by Ulster University.

Sharon is also a published Author for her book Infrastructure procurement and funding.

She has extensive academic experience. She is a PhD supervisor, academic mentor and HEA mentor. She has presented her research at international conferences.

She also won the Herbert Walton Excellence Award, from APM, for her PhD thesis. Sharon has secured funding grants for her research and delivered consultancy training to Industry.

Sharon is also an External Examiner for Liverpool John Moore's University and Salford University.

Sharon chairs APC panels for both quantity surveying and project management pathways. She is also a counsellor for number of APC candidates.
