Shane Porter is Co-Course Director of BA (Hons) Product Design and Lecturer in Design (Product) at Belfast School of Art. Shane graduated from the Royal College of Art (MA Ceramics & Glass, 2015) and Ulster University (BA (Hons) Fine and Applied Art, 2010).
Prior to joining Belfast School of Art, Shane held academic positions at Belfast Metropolitan College and Hampstead School of Art as Lecturer in Ceramics, and at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, as Artist in Residence Assistant and Ceramics Technician.
Shane has works in numerous private collections, including the permanent collection of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
