Biography

Samuel Poots is a PhD researcher in Creative Writing at Ulster University. His work examines themes of revolution and social change within the high fantasy genre, with a particular focus on the work of Sir Terry Pratchett. His own stories have been published in various magazines and anthologies, including Dark Matter Magazine, Daily Science Fiction, and Opulent Syntax: Irish Speculative Fiction, and he is a regular contributor to tabletop role playing games such as Warhammer Fantasy Role Play and Jim Henson's Labyrinth: The Adventure Game.
