Overview
Oisín Cleary is a PhD Researcher in the School of Psychology with interests in stroke, cognition, neurostimulation & rehabilitation.
His research project, titled "The Impact of Younger Stroke", has Oisín highlight and examine trends that are exhibited in young stroke survivors (aged 18-65) with regards to various areas such as physical health, cognition and emotional wellbeing.
Throughout Oisín's PhD, he will employ various research methodologies such as mixed methods, experimental neuroscience and non-invasive brain stimulation.
Oisín has a First-class Honours in BSc Psychology from Ulster University (UU) in 2020. He is a member of the School of Psychology's PhD Committee.
