Dr. Mohamed Elnaem is a pharmacy educator and researcher with several years of academic experience working in higher education institutions in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and the UK. His research interests are quality use of medicines, health service research (rational prescribing, medication adherence, and pharmacist-led interventions), digital health, and pharmacy education. He has experience employing different quantitative and qualitative research methods in clinical research. He has published several research articles across these areas in international peer-reviewed journals and served as a reviewer for several international journals. He is a member of several working groups of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. He is also a member of the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. He is an editorial board member of several international journals, such as Exploratory Research in Clinical and Social Pharmacy and Innovations in Pharmacy. Presently, he is working as a lecturer in clinical pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Life and Health Sciences, Ulster University.
