Biography

Dr Matthew Milliken has extensive experience of working on non-formal educational programmes with children and young people in Ireland and Germany.  He has a professional history of developing innovative educational approaches to support the building of relationships across the divided communities of Northern Ireland and has a record of publication on this work.  His research interests lie in the policies, practice and perceptions that affect the capacity of formal and non-formal education to make a meaningful contribution to the embedding of peace in post-conflict situations.
