Biography

Gianluca is a third-year PhD Reasercher in Linguistics, supervised by Prof. Raffaella Folli, Dr. Christina Sevdali, and Dr. Richard Stockwell. He works on extraction from adjuncts from a syntactic and semantic perspective.  

He spent Spring Term 2024 as a Visiting Research at MIT on a Turing scholarhsip.

He is the chair of the LAGB PSC, a full member of the LAGB committee, and an Associate Network Member of the project Adverbial clauses and subordinate dependency relationships (Cologne).

Gianluca holds a BA from Università degli Studi di Milano (110 cum laude/110) and MA in Linguistics from the Università degli Studi di Torino (110 cum laude/110). He spent six months at UCL funded by an Erasmus+ scholarship.
