Biography

Felicity Hasson is a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Nursing Research at the University of Ulster with twenty years’ experience in research. A social researcher by background, she has extensive experience and knowledge of qualitative, quantitative and mixed method research and has been involved in numerous research studies in palliative and end of life care. She completed her MSc in 1996 and her PhD from Ulster University in 2012.  Felicity is a member of the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care Palliative Care Research Network (PCRN).

Research Interests

Felicity’s research interests include nurse and assistant workforce, workforce training, palliative care and chronic illness (malignant and non-malignant with patients, families and multi-disciplinary health care professionals) and public awareness of palliative care and end of life issues.
