Biography

Federico Cruciani received the BScEng (2007) and MEng (2015) in Computer Engineering from the University of Florence (Italy). Between 2006-2016, he was a software project manager at I+ and Orthokey (Italy), working with optical and inertial sensors applied to kinematic analysis for computer assisted orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation. In 2016, he joined Ulster University as a Marie Curie fellow in Computer Science and received a PhD degree in 2020. He is currently working as a Senior Research Fellow at Ulster University. His research interests include eHealth, data analytics, AI and Deep Learning applications.
