Biography
Dr. Erin McEvoy is an award-winning public speaker, Lecturer and distinguished graduate of Ulster University. During her academic journey, she received multiple accolades in recognition of her outstanding performance. She was awarded the Hutchinson Tiles Award for achieving the highest overall mark in her cohort for both her BSc in Business with Retail Studies (2017) and the Bradley and McLaughlin Globe Award for achieving the highest overall mark in her cohort for her MSc in International Business (2018).
In 2023, Dr. McEvoy won both the Judges' Choice and People’s Choice awards in Ulster University’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. She advanced to become one of six finalists across the UK regional finals, selected from more than 55 participating universities.
In March 2025, she was named the Northern Ireland regional winner of FameLab, a prestigious science communication competition. She will represent Northern Ireland at the UK regional finals in Cheltenham in June 2025.
Dr. McEvoy has also been recognised by Ulster University as a distinguished graduate, celebrated for her continued academic excellence and public engagement throughout her studies.
