Biography
Professor Danielle McWall is currently the Associate Dean for Partnership and Student Recruitment having been the Head of the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics within the Ulster University Business School for 6 years. She joined Ulster University in 2006 and was awarded a Senior Lectureship in 2018 and the University’s Award for Sustained Excellence in Teaching in the same year. She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant for Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) and has been a member of CAI since 1992.
Prior to joining Ulster University, she was an Audit Director in BDO Belfast. Danielle holds a BSc Hons Accounting and an MBA, she is both a Chartered Accountant and a qualified internal auditor. While working in practice, she was seconded to BDO Seidman LLP in San Francisco and spent a very successful 16 months with them. She has also worked on accounting and audit projects across Europe and in Kiev, Ukraine. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience across several professional accounting bodies which helps students navigate their way towards a career as a professional accountant if that is the route they’d like to take.
