Biography

Dr Cormac McGarrigle completed a BSc in Biomedical Engineering and graduated with a PhD in reinforcement of composite materials from Ulster University. He then took up employment as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at UU in February 2019. In 2022 he completed a MEd in Higher Education Practice at UU. Dr McGarrigle’s primary expertise lies in materials development and materials characterisation, with particular interest in polymers and composites.
