Biography

Connor is a PhD researcher in the School of Sport. Connor graduated from Southampton Solent University with a First-Class Honours degree in (BA) Football Studies, before obtaining a Distinction from his Master of Arts in Culture, Society and Globalisation at the University of York. Connor was awarded a full three-year PhD scholarship at Ulster University.

Connor's PhD research focuses on disability activism, social inclusion and football fandom. His research interests include the sociology of sport; social inequalities; social inclusion; football; fandom; identity; social media; and qualitative research methods.
