Biography

Christine is a research specialist in the field of education, conflict and international development. She has over ten years’ experience of designing and leading quantitative and qualitative data collection in ODA countries with a particular focus on sub-Saharan Africa. She has worked with international organisations such as FCDO (UK), GIZ (Germany), NORAD (Norway), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), UNESCO and UNICEF to design and undertake high quality, relevant and impactful research. Her interests include mixed methods approaches to measuring inequitable access to education for marginalised groups and the political and economic interests that drive and sustain education policies. She is also a development finance specialist with a focus on quantifying and assessing the impact of education funds in the context of conflict and protracted crises.
