Biography

Beverley McCormick is the Assistant Course Director for the PGCE Primary Course on the Coleraine Campus, having joined Ulster University in 2022.  She holds a Bachelor of Education in Geography (Hons) from Stranmillis University College, a university college of Queen's University Belfast and a Master of Education from Ulster University. 

Prior to joining Ulster University, she worked as a primary school teacher for just over 15 years and spent almost 3 years working in global educator roles within the EdTech industry.   Her research interests include Initial Teacher Education, STEM Education, ICT and Digital Technologies in Education and Continuing Professional Development of Teachers.   She is a STEM Ambassador and works closely with STEM Hub(NI), the regional division of STEM Learning UK.
