Biography

Dr. Atta ul Haq is a postdoctoral research fellow (Research Associate) at Nanotechnology & Integrated Bioengineering Centre (NIBEC), Ulster University, UK. He received his PhD in Materials Engineering as a Marie Curie Fellow from Ulster University in 2018. He obtained his MS and BS degrees in Materials Engineering from KAIST (South Korea) and GIK Institute (Pakistan) respectively. He is currently working on the Emergent Nanomaterials focusing on the exsolution of nanoparticles driven by plasma processes at atmospheric/low pressures. 

Research Interests

Atmospheric Pressure Plasmas, Semiconducting Nanoparticles/Quantum Dots, Carbon Nanomaterials (CNTs/Graphene), Opto-Electronic Properties of nanomaterials, Solar Cells and Supercapacitors.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Atta has experience in teaching materials related courses ike Introduction to Materials Sceicne, Crystallography & X-ray Diffraction, Materials Evaluation Techniques, Materials Thermodynamics, Composite Materials, Polymer Engineering.
