Personal profile

Biography

I am a PhD researcher based in the School of Medicine in Ulster University. My PhD focuses on the developmental outcomes and wellbeing of adolescents and young people with Down syndrome who've undergone surgery for congenital heart disease.

I am particularly interested in actively involving adolescents and young people with Down syndrome in research. A novel aspect of my PhD involves working with adolescents and young people with Down syndrome to complete an appropriately-adapted self-report questionnaire on their wellbeing.
