Current and Recent Grants

Currently a Research Assosiate on the AHRC Green Transition Ecosystem - 'Future Island-Island' (2024-2025). The project explores waste management solutions with the community of Rathlin Island before upscaling these across Northern Ireland, other parts of Ireland, and beyond. In partnership with local industry, this research considers the diverse challenges of managing plastic waste and using organic waste as commodities to manufacture new sustainable materials.[AH/Y003780/1]

2023: Co-Investigator and Research Assistant on an AHRC Design Exchange Partnership Project (40k) Project: Restoration and Redesign: Exploring the coastal heritage potential for a circular design economy. AH/Y000226/1

2020/22: Research Assistant on The Leverhulme Trust funded (£116,350) project “An alchemy of exploration, screen print in the fashion industry 1990-2004”.
