Amy Reid is a PhD researcher in Human Geography at the Ulster University, Coleraine. Her interdisciplinary project explores mental health and wellbeing in divided societies and how these are impacted upon by conflict architecture.
Amy has previously undertaken primary research in Cyprus, exploring how heritage can perpetuate division in a post-conflict society. This research also examined how heritage can be used to aid reconciliation and improve bi-communal relations between Greek and Turkish Cypriots.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
