Biography

Amanda Kearns is a PhD researcher at Ulster University, Assistant Lecturer at Dundalk Institute of Technology and founder of ARK Health Group. Her research focuses on digital health communication, AI-generated health scenarios, trust, empathy and biopsychosocial care in obesity and mental health contexts.

She is interested in how digital tools can support more human, inclusive and context-sensitive healthcare communication, and brings an applied health innovation perspective through her work in entrepreneurship education, service design and research translation.
