Description
This dataset contains the anonymised analytical data underpinning the manuscript Influence of Vertical GPS Sensor Placement on Criterion Agreement and Interchangeability of Distance and Speed Measures. The dataset comprises paired measurements obtained from PlayerTek™ 10 Hz GPS devices positioned simultaneously at the manufacturer-recommended upper-back location and a mid-back location approximately 10 cm inferior. Criterion total distance was measured using a calibrated trundle wheel, while criterion peak speed was measured using a 1080 Sprint system. The dataset supports the agreement, reliability, Bland–Altman, equivalence (TOST), variability and participant-level sensitivity analyses reported in the manuscript. All direct participant identifiers have been removed and replaced with anonymous study identifiers.
