Description

The Food and Consumer Testing Suite at Ulster University has collected the award for Best Business and Third Level Institution Collaboration at the annual Education Awards held in Dublin recently. Sensory Network partners from Ulster University’s Business School Food and Consumer Testing Suite attended the gala awards ceremony where they were presented with the accolade. The Food and Consumer Testing Suite (FACTS) collaborated with a number of businesses across a wide range of projects. FACTS offers a vital one stop shop for any manufacturer as it undertakes research and provides direct access to expertise in sensory evaluation, nutritional testing, shelf-life testing as well as market research relating to consumer perceptions around pricing, branding, promotion and product placement. Ulster University’s ongoing research and innovation with businesses helps ensure that FACTS retains the cutting-edge skills, knowledge and expertise to ensure product success. Within the last year over 20 local/national food producers have benefitted from the team’s expertise. For more information contact Amy Burns at [email protected].
