Description

Mr Roy Sterritt, a lecturer in Informatics from the University of Ulster, School of Computing and Mathematics, visited School on the 27th November to talk to the Senior Science Society.  Having recently returned from the USA where he was working on a project with NASA, Mr Sterritt’s informative talk entitled ‘SPAAACE: Self-properties, Autonomous, Autonomic, Apoptotic Computing Environments’ outlined how the principles of human physiology could be applied to the development of computing and robotic systems.
