The Chilean department of culture (El Consejo de la Cultura y los Artes and the Fundación Violeta Parra) invited me to present my work on Violeta Parra in Santiago, Chile in 2017. This was part of a series of events to commemorate the centenary of Parra's birth: Violeta Parra Cien Años. I was interviewed about my work by the journalist Federico Grunewald for the newspaper El Austral de la Araucaní. A short section about my work on Parra's employment of surrealism and Pop art appeared in the newspaper along with details of my book Violeta Parra: Life and Work.
