ATU Donegal and Ulster University will host an international conference on the causes and effects of mica and defective concrete blocks on the ATU campus in Letterkenny in November.

Leading international experts in geology, earth sciences and engineering, who research the impacts of deleterious minerals on concrete from Canada, the USA, Switzerland and Norway, will travel to the North West to speak about their own research geological minerals and their role in destroying concrete.
