Description

1711 Ireland: A Witch’s Fate, created by Ulster University’s Creative Development Team, Dr Victoria McCollum, Dr Andrew Sneddon, Brian Coyle, and Sabrina Minter, reimagines the infamous Islandmagee witch trials through immersive gameplay and storytelling. The groundbreaking project combines history, drama, music, and game design to explore fear, injustice and belief in 18th-century Antrim. The Creative Design Team, led by Brian Coyle and Sabrina Minter, crafted the game’s innovative narrative structure and distinctive visual style. The game invites players to step into the past and decide the witches’ fate, with consequences that reveal much about power, prejudice and truth.
