Description

Review of the historical factors that led to the Ulster Teachers Union breaking away from the Irish National Teachers Union.  The impact of the split is reflected upon as is new evidence that identifies that, although the two unions are now working collaboratively, the sectarian tensions that brought about the schism still define the membership profile of each.
