Description

Ulster University’s School of Law is pleased to announce a new teaching partnership with DWF’s Infrastructure, Construction & Energy (ICE) team working on our LL.M. in International Commercial Law and ADR programme.

As part of the collaboration, David Humphreys, a Senior Associate at DWF and Ulster Law alumnus, helped design and deliver a six-week teaching block on construction law , providing our students with valuable insights into real-world disputes, contract issues, and ADR in practice.

Commenting on the initiative David said, "It has been a privilege to return to Ulster, where my own legal career began, to contribute to the LL.M. programme and engage with such an enthusiastic and insightful group of students. At DWF, we’re passionate about fostering legal education that is both academically rigorous and commercially grounded. We look forward to developing this partnership further. I'm excited to see it continue to grow."

John Keers BL, our Course Director, said: "This partnership with DWF brings exceptional value to our students. Exposure to current industry practices and insights from practitioners such as David enriches the academic experience and prepares our students for the realities of legal practice."

We are proud to connect students with professionals who bring learning to life and prepare them for the demands of a dynamic legal career.
