Description

An iceberg larger than Mayo has just broken away from an ice shelf in Antarctica. Scientists have been monitoring a huge crack in the "Larsen C Ice Shelf", which measures nearly 6000 square kilometres, and they have announced that the rift has finally completed its path through the ice.
